ABOUT THE CONTEST
The competition is open to all tech enthusiasts, students and developers.
Development of a Target Lock system for FPV drones with a prize of 1,000,000 CZK!
The challenge is to design and develop an end-to-end visual guidance system (Target Lock) that advances the capabilities of conventional FPV drones.
The announcer of the competition is STV GROUP a.s., based at Dlouhá 730/35, Prague 1, ID No.: 261 81 134. The competition runs until 31 December 2024.
WHAT IS TARGET LOCK SYSTEM
The Target Lock system enables a drone to automatically detect and track a moving target at a distance of 500 metres. This technology is crucial for precise guidance in harsh conditions and is used in many areas - from security to civilian applications.

SOLUTION DESIGN REQUIREMENTS
The solution design should meet the following requirements:
· Minimum target detection and lock-on distance: 500 meters
· Taking control of the FPV drone
· Ability to keep the target in motion
· Autonomous flight to a locked target with the possibility of manual control intervention
The proposed solution includes a high-quality camera and a microcomputer compatible via an interface with standard FPV drone flight controllers.

COMPETITION RULES AND CONDITIONS
· All participants must be 18 years of age or older
· Focus on technical fields or drone technology development
· The winning solution will be selected based on the quality of the design and its feasibility
· The winner will be awarded an exclusive intellectual property rights transfer agreement for a fee, under which the winner will transfer the source code, and documentation and sell a working prototype to STV GROUP a.s. for a total remuneration of CZK 1,000,000
· The competition runs until 31 December 2024
· After the competition ends, all unwinning designs will be returned to the participants
· STV GROUP a.s. reserves the right to cancel the competition at any time or not to select a winner
· By entering the competition you confirm that you have read these terms and conditions
EVALUATION AND REWARD
Main judging criteria:
· Functionality
· Innovativeness of the solution
· Technical feasibility
· Possibilities of practical use
· Efficiency (ratio of production costs vs. benefits)
· Readiness of the prototype for testing
Reward for the winner:
CZK 1,000,000 in the form of a contract for the transfer of intellectual property rights (see above) and the possibility of long-term cooperation with STV GROUP a.s. on other projects.

Processing of personal data is carried out by the Administrator for evaluation, communication with participants, marketing purposes and distribution of prizes. The personal data of the data subject are processed in the following scope: name, (or names, if applicable).
