Flyer 72 at BAHNA 2024
Read Security magazine's report on the Flyer 72 light assault vehicles we introduced at BAHNA 2024.
At this year's Czech Army Ground Forces Day, BAHNA 2024, we were honored to welcome Colonel Robert C. Rice, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and current FLYER Defense representative. The company, like STV GROUP, is known for its innovative approach to military technology. Together we presented the Flyer 72 light assault vehicle, designed specifically for the US Special Forces.
Colonel Rice presented the unique features of the Flyer 72 in detail to Security magazine. This highly mobile all-terrain vehicle weighs approximately 3,300 kg and is capable of carrying loads of up to 2,500 kg, be it people, technology, weapon systems or materiel. The vehicle is designed to meet the stringent requirements of the US Special Operations Command. Its compact design allows it to fit into CH-47 and CH-53 helicopters, making it easy to deploy quickly into action.
The Flyer 72 features a central rear engine that provides excellent stability and off-road mobility, and its design allows for easy transport and parachute drops. This vehicle is already in use by the armed forces of the United Arab Emirates, Israel, Italy and others.
STV GROUP, as a proud partner of the Czech Army, supports advanced military technology. We are convinced that the LUV Flyer 72 represents a significant contribution to the modernization and increased efficiency of the armed forces. Read more in Security magazine's report here.
