Inside the Czech munitions factory: STV Technology in Polička

STV Technology in Polička, a subsidiary of STV INVEST, is one of the leading Czech producers of small-calibre ammunition. The company was founded in 2017 and has quickly gained a reputation for its high-quality standards and production capacity.

Take a peek with the editors of Security magazine into the modern armaments plant, which boasts not only a long tradition dating back to 1920 but also ambitious plans for the future. STV Technology focuses on the production of small-calibre ammunition such as 9mm and 223 Rem cartridges, including their military versions (9x19mm NATO, 5.56x45 M193 and 5.56x45 SS109).

The company is continuously investing in developing and modernising its production capacities. In the spring of 2025, it will start production of 7.62x39mm and 7.62x51mm cartridges, an important milestone in its development thanks to new technologies. With these investments, it will expand its product portfolio and offer its products to new markets.
