MAN off-road military trucks in A Report magazine
STV GROUP and Rheinmetall MAN Military Vehicles presented off-road trucks to the Czech Army at a joint industrial day.
It took place at the test polygon of the Military Technical Institute (VTU) near Vyškov
Rheinmetall, one of the largest manufacturers of military equipment and weapons in Europe, together with STV GROUP, the only Czech manufacturer of large-calibre ammunition and a proud partner of the Czech Army, presented two 6x6 vehicles. The first was a militarized version of the TG, and the second was a fully military model with an armoured cab. The vehicles were tested on the polygon at the Březina military base in real conditions, which included challenging terrain barriers, sharp inclines and vehicle wading to a depth of 150 cm without prior preparation.
The RMMV has produced over 25,000 similar off-road vehicles in various modifications, which are used by many NATO countries such as the USA, UK, Sweden, Poland, Spain and Germany. These vehicles have also been deployed in foreign operations in the Middle East and Africa, where they have been tested in the harshest possible conditions.
