Slovak Denník N informs about the acquisition of STV GROUP in Slovakia
STV GROUP expands its activities in Slovakia through the acquisition of Matador Industries, thus becoming a major player in the local defence industry market.
Last week, the Slovak daily Denník N published a detailed article about the significant acquisition of STV GROUP, the Czech technology group, which is the only manufacturer of large-calibre ammunition in the Czech Republic, has bought Matador Industries, based in Dubnica nad Váhom. The move will allow STV GROUP not only to expand its operations, but also to bring complex weapons projects to Slovakia.
According to Pavel Beran, director of special projects at STV GROUP, the acquisition of Matador Industries gives the group access to modern technologies that will enable the development of heavy combat vehicle production. STV GROUP is also planning further investments and expansion in the Slovak arms industry market, which will make it a serious competitor to the existing players in this market.
This acquisition is a significant step in the fulfilment of STV GROUP's mission to be a reliable partner providing the most advanced weapon systems and technologies not only in the Czech Republic but also abroad.
