STV GROUP donated RPG-7 to Ukraine for 20 million CZK / € 765,000
The symbolic handover took place on 13 November 2024 at the Embassy of Ukraine in the Czech Republic.
STV GROUP, one of the leaders of the Czech defence industry, supported the defenders of peace in Ukraine by donating RPG-7 anti-tank grenade launchers worth CZK 20 million / € 765,000.
"We are convinced that the assistance we provide to the Ukrainian Armed Forces is a manifestation not only of our technical and production capabilities but above all of our commitment to support those who fight for freedom and human rights," said David Hác, Chairman of the Board of STV GROUP.
Ukraine's Ambassador to the Czech Republic Vasyl Zvaryc expressed his gratitude for this support and stressed that STV GROUP was among the first companies to show solidarity with Ukraine. "The delivery of this charitable military aid is another example of solidarity and support from STV GROUP. I am convinced that these grenade launchers in the hands of our heroic army will play a significant role in defending against the aggressor and protecting human lives that are threatened daily by Russian attacks," added Vasyl Zvarych.
