STV GROUP HELPS THE VOLUNTEER FIREFIGHTERS FROM MARCHES DEPLOYED IN THE FIGHT AGAINST COVID-19
During the crisis situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, STV GROUP helps not only by handing out masks "to the front line", but also by, for example, a financial donation to the Association of Volunteer Firefighters of Březina.
The SDH Březina unit, which is included in the predetermined units for the protection of the population with jurisdiction over the entire republic, has already been involved in the distribution of protective equipment and disinfection for municipalities and cities in the Pardubice region since the beginning of the corona crisis.
The company STV GROUP, among others, responded to an urgent request for help in the purchase of an inflatable tent that would serve firefighters and paramedics in the event of a worsening of the pandemic or in another emergency situation. She provided SDH Březina with a financial gift, which will significantly help the volunteer firefighters to purchase an inflatable tent. In addition, Jan Děcký, statutory director of STV GROUP, stated that "Březiny is a village practically over the hill from our production plant in Polička, and of course we know about the very active and nationally acclaimed association of volunteer firefighters there. So, as soon as a request came from them to provide a financial donation for such a godly cause, which can help in the current emergency situation, we met it almost immediately."
Jiří Schreiber, mayor of SDH Březina, described the purpose of purchasing the tent: "The advantage of an inflatable tent is its mobility, very quick erection in any place and easy decontamination, which are ideal prerequisites for deployment during extraordinary situations, which in the future may also be floods or other natural disasters . We thank STV GROUP for helping us make the purchase of this expensive but necessary equipment possible."
